MULUOHABTE It was incredibly hard picking a favorite! Ryan Alan approaches songwriting with such poise and sophistication; knowing when to emphasize a certain line or fall back to let the instrumental do the talking so that you truly FEEL it. This was an emotional yet positive listening experience. It's a project I'll certainly come back to often, and it deserves to be elevated on a mass scale. Producer / Songwriter Ryan Alan is back with another side project, this time under the name Plane Tary. Look Up is an experience; it welcomes you into the world of an introverted character in his mid twenties trying to find his way. This psychedelic genre bending project was made in its entirety in 5 days. Ryan played the electric guitar, bass guitar, drums (hi hat, snare, rides), and the piano on this project making himself a one man band. The sound is organic and uplifting while contrasting with the 'search and fail' approach to love in the story telling. This is a body of work that fits any time of the year, but comes just in time for fall. Listen / download and enjoy! Share!
